What is a Location?

Use the Location module to create and edit Warehouse Locations. Locations are where the Items are stored. You can have multiple items in one Location. Typically speaking if you have a smaller operation, then you may only want to create 1 Location, however, if you have a fully functional warehouse then you will likely have hundreds of Locations per Store. If you have connected your Store to a 3PL (either CSV or API) then you should only create 1 Location that will act as a virtual Location from where items will be fulfilled and Shipped.

**Note: You will need to setup Location Zones before you can create a Location**
