The approval feature in the Sales Order is to notify that approval is required for further processing the Sales Order or it has been approved.
From the SO Centre we can see the “Approval Status“, “Approval Status Changed At” and “Approval Status Change Source“.
The Columns to view the “Approval Status” can be added in the Sales Order Centre from the “nine dots” option.
How to use this functionality?
- Navigate to the Sales Order Centre.
- Enable the Columns to view the “Approval Status”.
- Now, right-click on the SO, and from the options list, click on the “Approvals” dropdown.
- This will show the options: “Mark as Waiting for Approval”, “Mark as Approved”, “Remove Approval Status”.
For e.g.,
After applying Mark As Waiting for Approval, Sales Order will be as shown below in the Sales Order Centre:
Once Sales Order is opened, the notification will be as shown below:
Please Note: It’s a nonimpact “Tag”. The system will not restrict any functioning like Releasing or Allocating.
