The Customers created in the system can be merged if required.
We can merge multiple Customers. Xoro gives you the ability to merge more than 100 Customers in one go.
Follow the steps below to merge the Customers:
- Navigate to the “Customer Centre” and select the Customers you want to merge.
- Under the “Options” click on “Merge”.
- Select the “Primary Customer” under which you want to merge all the other selected Customers.
- Hit “Merge”.
- All the Customers will be Merged to the one selected “Primary Customer”.
- You will get the Success notification at the bottom of the page.
Cases when the merging of the Customers won’t be successful:
- Customers with different Currencies.
- Customer(s) has Credit Card information saved to it.
Customers with different Currency
- Only Customers with the same Currency could be merged.
- The system will give an error if the Customers having different Currencies are attempted to be merged.
Customer(s) has Credit Card information saved to it.
If the Customer has Credit Card Information saved, it can not be merged with another Customer.
The system will give an error.
In order to merge Customers having CC information, you will have to remove the CC linking with the Customer(s) first.
After merging the Customers, the Credit Card information can be re-linked to the “Primary Customer” saved.
Follow the below-mentioned steps to delete the Card linking with the Customer.
- Navigate to the Customer Centre and double click to open the Customer information page.
- Under the Payments tab, click on “Credit Card Info”.
- Add/Update Credit Card popup will open.
- Under the Saved Card drop-down, select the Card and hit the delete icon on the right.
- Hit Confirm and this will delete the CC info.
