How do you run a BS/P&L report in comparison to the budgets I’ve created?

For comparing the P&L or Balance Sheet against your created budgets, use the following reports:

  1. Budget Vs Actual BS: Lists what you own (assets), what your debts are (liabilities), and what you’ve invested in your company (equity) and compares it to budgeted values.
  2. Budget Vs Actual PL: Shows money you earned (income) and money you spent (expenses) so you can see how profitable you are in comparison to budgeted values.
