Firstly, you need to make sure that there is no inventory or transactions associated with any of the product’s variants. Then you need to delete the variants and finally delete the base product.
Here are the steps:
1. Go to “Product Centre” and right-click on the product you want to delete.
2. Then click “Show Variants“. It will pull up the items (variants) associated with that product.
3. Then right-click on the item and click “Delete” or select “Batch Delete” from “Options”.
4. Once all the items are deleted, you can finally delete the product from the “Product Centre”.
In case you have transactions associated with that product, you can also deactivate the product by unchecking the Active checkbox and similarly, deactivate the variants associated with it.
