How editing a Transfer Order will impact the corresponding TPO/TSO?

We know that as soon as a TSO/TPO is created and released, it generates the associated TPO/TSO.

  • If any changes related to the item QTY are made or a new item is added or changes are made in the address, a new corresponding TPO/TSO will automatically get updated with the new data. 
  • The system will update the values of the corresponding TPO/TSO.
  • Adding a new line or deleting an existing line will automatically be reflected in the corresponding TSO/TPO

Two new app config are added under the general tab of the App Config module, in which users can select header and detail level fields to be auto-updated.

  1. Auto Update TSO/TPO Header fields (Selected fields well be auto-update when making changes in corresponding TSO/TPO)
  2. Auto Update TSO/TPO Detail fields (Selected fields well be auto-update when making changes in corresponding TSO/TPO)

How does it work?

If Both App configs are turned OFF (Nothing Selected in Config) the system will function as earlier, however, if any item is added/deleted, or if there is any change in the address, it will not update the corresponding TPO/TSO.
  • Now, turn the settings ON from the App Config module.
  • Select Ship Date in (Auto Update TSO/TPO Header fields) and Select Ship date and Qty in (Auto Update TSO/TPO Detail fields)
  • Now Make changes accordingly, changes will be updated in the corresponding TPO/TSO.
  • Adding & deleting lines will automatically update the corresponding TSO/TPO accordingly.

Please Note:

  • The changes can only be made in the Released Status and the change will be reflected in the corresponding Order. 
  • When updating TPO Line quantity it can not be less than the sum of  Qty allocated & Qty shipped of corresponding TSO.
  •  Same in the case of TPO, Quantity can not be less than the sum of Qty received & qty receiving.
