3. Added the ability to show a range of prices, instead of a single price
4. Added a new “Item Info” view in the Customer Portal
5. Added the feature to display the inventory as either lower or higher than a specific value

We have added a new module “Customer Portal Links” to add external resources to the Customer Portal home page and the Presentation View page.

How does it work?

  • Use the Search menu to navigate to the “Customer Portal Links” module.
  • Here, you can add the details of the external links that will be added to the Customer Portal.
  • Add the information in the “Title” and “Description” fields. In the “Link” field, add the link to which you want to redirect the user. Then, click on “Save”
  • You can check all the links added in this module in the “Customer Portal Links Centre”.
  • These links will be shown on the Customer Portal home page. On the Customer Portal home page, a new menu “Resources” has been added. The Portal Users can access these external links from here.
  • A “Resources” tab has also been added to the Presentation View screen. The user can also access the external links from here.

2. Added a feature to check incoming PO units for the Back Ordered Items

We have added the ability to see the units that will be received for the items that have been placed on back orders.

How does it work?

To access information regarding upcoming deliveries for items on back order, follow these steps:

  • Go to the “Back Order Info” module in the Customer Portal. A new column, “Incoming Deliveries,” has been added here.
  • To view the details of incoming deliveries, click on the search icon underneath this column.
  • This will take you to the “Incoming PO Deliveries” page, where you can see the quantity of the item that is expected to be delivered in the future, along with the expected delivery date.

3. Added the ability to show a range of prices, instead of a single price

The Presentation now includes a range of prices (minimum-maximum) to indicate the variation in prices of different variants of the Product. This marks a deviation from the previous approach, which involved displaying only the lowest price of the Product.

For instance, suppose you have a T-shirt in three colors, each with a different standard price: Red ($30), White ($35), and Blue ($35).

Previously, only the minimum price ($30) would have been displayed. But now, the price of the item will be shown as a range ($30-$35). Note that if all the variants have the same price, only a single price will be displayed.

4. Added a new “Item Info” view in the Customer Portal

We have introduced a new view called “Item Info” in the Customer Portal that can be accessed from various locations. Depending on your preferences, this view provides details about the item.

To configure which tabs are displayed in this view, a new app config called “Show/Hide Item Info Tabs In Customer Portal Item Info View” has been added to the system.

Only the tabs selected in this App Config will be shown to the Customer.

How does it work?

You can access this view in the following ways:

  • Search Products module
    • You can see this info when you search for a Product.
    • In the Customer Portal, search for a Product. A new “Show Details” button has been added to the “Search Products” page.
    • When you click on this, the “Item Info” page will be populated. Here, you can see the details of the Item. There are 4 tabs available: “Primary”, “Weights & Dims”, “Inventory”, and “Incoming Deliveries”. Only the tabs selected in the above-mentioned app config will be shown.
  • Add Product module
    • You can access the “Item Info” view from the “Add Product” module.
    • Click on a Product to see the details and add it to the cart.
    • If you click on the Item quantity, the “Item Info” page will be populated.
  • Checkout module
    •  The “Item Info” view can be accessed from the Checkout module as well.
    • On the Order Summary page, click on the available quantity under the Item price to see the “Item Info” view.

**Please note that when the Item Info pop-up is opened from qty, the inventory tab is displayed by default. If the inventory tab is not selected in the app config, the quantity will not be clickable.

5. Added the feature to display the inventory as either lower or higher than a specific value

We have included a new feature that enables users to view their inventory as either above or below a particular quantity. This can be configured based on whether the inventory is shown on the Portal or Presentation View.

Portal: For the inventory shown in the Customer portal, a new app config, “Min/Max Qty to Show for Item in B2B Portal” has been added, allowing users to define the maximum and minimum quantities.

So, if the inventory is less than the minimum value, then it will be shown as less than the specified value and if the inventory is greater than the maximum value, then it will be shown as greater than the specified value.

Presentation View: For the inventory shown in the Presentation View, the maximum and minimum quantities are defined in the Presentation attributes.

So, if the inventory is less than the minimum value, then it will be displayed as less than the specified value and if the inventory is greater than the maximum value, then it will be displayed as greater than the specified value.

**Please note that if the quantity is equal to or between the maximum and minimum quantity, the exact quantity will be displayed.
